How do I close a case for a juvenile who was returned via the Return for Failed Supervision workflow?
When you return a juvenile via the Return for Failed Supervision workflow, the JIDS system will automatically close the case for your juvenile by switching the Case Status from “Active” to “Closed” in the juvenile’s File Details. After completing the workflow, you will need to enter the Case Closure Date in the juvenile’s File Details.
1. To do this, go to the juvenile file details for the file you would like to close.
2. Enter a date into the Case Closure Date field.
3. Click Save.
Note: If you utilize either of the Case Closure Workflows, both of these fields will automatically be completed by the JIDS System.
